Homemade Applesauce

My friend Whitney and I decided we wanted to try a new recipe we got off of a blog that we both follow

First we cored, sliced, and peeled 3 lbs. of apples.
The we took a bag of pre-frozen strawberries (thawed) and sliced them up.

We added 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup water and let simmer for 25 minutes.

After simmering for 25 minutes pour mixture into blender/ food processor and puree.

We ended up filling 2 -16 oz. plastic freezable jars.
